Health Matters
Health Matters 2.0
CWMA has published Health Matters for the Lopez Community for over two decades to inform the community of what’s happening at the Lopez Island Clinic and how CWMA has been supporting the maintenance of the clinic building and maintenance and purchase of equipment. In 2017, after a lengthy evaluation of options, the Lopez Island Public Hospital District was a formed and an agreement was reached with UW Medicine to take over management of the clinic. Now the three main entities are working together in a successful collaboration to bring Lopez Island the best in healthcare.
